Michael Weinstein is the Principal Environmental Consultant and Co-Founder of Aeterna Environmental, where he leads high-impact water and energy conservation initiatives for clients across the education, government, and commercial sectors. With national certification as a Commercial Water Auditor, Michael specializes in identifying inefficiencies, designing practical solutions, and unlocking government incentives that help organizations save resources while improving long-term operational resilience.

Michael works extensively with K–12 school districts, universities, federal agencies, municipalities, and private institutions, delivering clear, data-driven strategies that support budget optimization and sustainability goals. His expertise spans irrigation and landscape efficiency, indoor plumbing assessments, utility cost analysis, and comprehensive conservation project management.

Before co-founding Aeterna Environmental, Michael built a strong foundation in traditional environmental compliance, giving him the unique ability to interpret complex regulations, prepare competitive grant and rebate applications, and streamline bureaucratic approval processes. This background allows him to bridge the gap between technical requirements and real-world implementation.

Known for his practical approach and commitment to service, Michael helps clients “do more with less” by creating solutions that are both environmentally responsible and financially strategic. He is dedicated to empowering organizations with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to reduce consumption, decrease operating costs, and build sustainable systems for the future.
